Abstract:
Disclosed is a grained leather-like sheet, comprising a fibrous base layer, an adhesive layer formed on the surface of the base layer, and a coating layer formed on the adhesive layer. The fibrous base layer comprises a non-woven fabric formed of ultrafine fibers having a unit fiber fineness of 0.1 dtex or smaller. The adhesive layer comprises mainly a polyurethane/styrene thermoplastic elastic copolymer, and the coating layer comprises mainly a styrene thermoplastic elastomer. Since the adhesion strength and the peel strength between the coating layer and the fibrous base layer are high, the grained leather-like sheet is less likely to cause any inconvenience (e.g., detachment) during use and no cheapish irregularity is produced on the surface of the coating layer even when the sheet is stretched.
