Abstract:
Disclosed is a granular body polishing device capable of efficiently and satisfactorily polishing granular bodies. Further disclosed is a foundry sand reproducing device and a particulate generation device which the granular body polishing device is applied to.
The granular body polishing device is provided with: a case (10) which houses the granular bodies (2); a drive shaft (23) which is supported in the case (10) so as to be rotatable; a polishing disk (30) which comprises a disk-shaped disk body (31) fixed to the drive shaft (23) and having disk surfaces perpendicular to the axial direction of the drive shaft (23) formed thereon and wherein a polishing surface (32) is formed on at least one of the disk surfaces formed on both sides of the disk body (31); and a flow means (40) which blows air from the bottom surface of the case (10) to cause the granular bodies (2) to flow in a floating state, thereby forming a flowing layer (S) in which at least a part of the polishing surface (32) is immersed.
