Abstract:
Provided is a molecular sieve which has a high degree of selectivity and with which it is possible to quickly transmit molecules. The present invention is characterized by: having a nanowindow formed so as to be devoid of carbon atoms in a part of graphene, and one or more hetero atoms substituted by one or more carbon atoms constituting the rim of the nanowindow; an electrostatic field being induced within the nanowindow by the hetero atoms; the rim of the nanowindow being mitigated in a coordinated manner with transmission molecules having a van der Waals' radius greater than that of the nanowindow; and it being possible to transmit the transmission molecules.
