Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of graphics processing. Disclosed are a graphics processing unit (GPU), a graphics processing method, and an electronic device, being used for shortening the time of processing an image by a multi-core GPU. The GPU comprises a polygon list generator, a task scheduler, and multiple cores; the polygon list generator is used for obtaining multiple blocks of an image frame and a polygon list corresponding to each block, and calculating the load capacity of each block, wherein the polygon list indicates polygons comprised by the corresponding blocks; and the task scheduler is used for scheduling, according to the descending order of the load capacity, the multiple cores to process the polygon lists corresponding to the multiple blocks, so as to draw an image.
