Abstract:
A graphics rendering method and apparatus. The method comprises: determining a first vertex of light that intersects an object (301); determining a neighborhood of the light, the illumination distribution in the neighborhood being similar to that of the first vertex of the light (302); determining the illumination distribution of incident light of the light in the neighborhood, the illumination distribution of the incident light being similar to that of the neighborhood (303); determining a second vertex of the light on the basis of the illumination distribution of the incident light (304); and determining a path of the light on the basis of the first vertex and the second vertex (305). According to the method, the obtained path is more efficient, and the calculation cost can be saved.
