Abstract:
The present invention relates to a graphite having edges functionalized by a mechanical-chemical technique, and more particularly, to a method for manufacturing the graphite having functionalized edges, wherein the method comprises a step of grinding the graphite under the presence of a surrounding atmosphere of a liquid or gas phase substance, and to the graphite having functionalized edges manufactured by the method. The graphite having functionalized edges according to the present invention is a precursor that can be applied to a wide range of fields, so that the functionalized graphite of the present invention having many functions attached to the edges thereof can replace conventional oxidized graphite.
