Abstract:
Provided is a graphite structure with which it is possible to suppress, to a minimum, adverse effects such as breaking when a join site is subjected to bending stress. For a graphite structure (20A), the distance between an inner peripheral surface (153) and a small diameter portion (28) of a recess (15) will be longer than the thickness of an adhesive layer (26), and there is accordingly formed a space (S) that is larger than the thickness of the adhesive layer (26) between the inner peripheral surface (153) and the small diameter portion (28) of the recess (15). This space (S) is formed such that the small diameter portion (28) is farther away from the inner peripheral surface (153) of the recess (15) than is a large diameter portion (27). Thus, according to this graphite structure (20A), even if the join site between a first member (21) and a second member (22) is subjected to bending stress, an open end (151) of the inner peripheral surface (153) of the recess (15) will tend to not make contact with an outer peripheral surface (281) of the small diameter portion (28). Should the open end (151) of the inner peripheral surface (153) of the recess (15) make contact with the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion (28), it is merely that an action will occur so as to split the second member (22), it being possible to minimize the risk of an adverse effect being visited on the first member (21).
