Abstract:
Disclosed is a grease composition that can be used for a long period of time in a wide temperature range from low temperatures to high temperatures, using a relatively inexpensive base oil. Also disclosed are a roller bearing and universal joint that are packed with the grease composition. The grease composition is one in which additives are mixed into a base grease consisting of a base oil and a thickener, wherein the aforementioned base oil contains at least 50% by weight highly refined oil with a viscosity index of 120 to 180, and the aforementioned additives include at least 0.2 to 6 parts by weight poly(meth)acrylate with a dynamic viscosity of at least 100 mm2/s and less than 850 mm2/s at 100ºC, to 100 parts by weight base grease, and ZnDTP. A roller bearing (1) is packed with this grease composition (7) on the outer circumference of a rolling body (4).
