Abstract:
A grease composition which comprises (A) a perfluoropolyether base oil, (B) a thickening agent, and (C) barium sulfate and/or antimony oxide, the amounts of the ingredients (B) and (C) incorporated being 0.1-50 wt.% and 1-25 wt.%, respectively. Due to the addition of the ingredient (C), which is at least one of barium sulfate and antimony oxide each having an average primary-particle diameter of 0.1-20 µm, the grease composition can produce the excellent effect of improving wearing resistance, frictional properties, load resistance, high-temperature durability, and unsusceptibility to corrosion while retaining the intact heat resistance.
