Abstract:
Grease that has spread down to a cylinder rod would have dust attached thereto or would hardened over time, and thus is likely to ruin packing installed at a place where a hydraulic cylinder rod comes down to be housed in a cylindrical rod guide. As the solution to this problem, provided is a grease stopper for a cylinder device equipped with: a hydraulic cylinder provided with a cylindrical rod guide and a rod having an axial end side that protrudes so as to be extendable to the outside via said rod guide; and a rod mounting part to which a leading end of the rod of the cylinder is rotatably mounted, via a bearing, about a pin supported by a pin support disposed on the side of a work machine, the grease stopper being cylindrically-shaped and being for preventing grease leaking around the outer circumference of the rod. The grease stopper is characterized by being detachably mounted to the outer circumference of the rod.
