Abstract:
Provided is a green coffee bean information provision method that utilizes a database holding information about multiple types of green coffee beans, wherein the database includes at least identification information of the respective green coffee beans, control information indicating a method for roasting the respective green coffee beans using a roasting machine, and attribute information with which accompanying information pertaining to production of the respective green coffee beans is associated. In addition, a user terminal device (200) is configured to read an information code converted from either identification information of a given type of green coffee beans or address information in a database server (100) for storing the attribute information of the given type of green coffee beans so as to extract the identification information or the address information. Further, when a request for attribute information of the given type of green coffee beans is transmitted from the terminal device (200) on the basis of the identification information or the address information, the attribute information of the given type of green coffee beans is extracted from the database server (100) and transmitted to the terminal device (200). Then, the terminal device (200) transmits the control information included in the attribute information to a roasting machine (300), and causes the accompanying information to be outputted to an output device.
