Description:
GREEN FODDER PRODUCTION SYSTEM

Technical Field

The invention relates to a fodder cultivation system improved to cultivate greem fodder (crop) with low cost, high nutritional value and fresh for 385 days with a hydrophonic agriculture technology for rapid germination and growing of cool climate grain/grains (barley, wheat, rye, forage pea, lupine, sunflower, etc ).

State of Art

In our day, one of the highest costs of animal breeding is fodder. Rapid and cheap provision of fodder increases profitability, and particularly with green fodder, a health breeding and an increase of 10% in milk efficiency and 14% fat increase in fat ratio in milk are enabled , and insemination problem is eliminated.

Demand for food of animal origin is increasing along with increasing population. Despite increase seen in animal wealth, it is insufficient for satisying coarse fodder requirement of animals due to fodder plant cultivation areas' incapability to reach the desired level, and weakening of meadow and pasture areas due to overgrazing and estrepement. Moreover, tendency to intensive agriculture and rehabilitation works for animal wealth have led to further increase of coarse fodder deficit in our country. Current coarse fodder production can only satisfy approximately half of total coarse fodder requirement. Hence, rehabilitation of meadows and pastures for satisfying qualified fodder requirement of animal breeding businesses, increase of fodder plant cultivation areas, bringing other alternative coarse fodder sources into production and qualified coarse fodder cultivation techniques should be provided to producers. Grain seeds germinated in a soil-free environment are particularly recommended as an alternative green fodder source for farmers ranching in regions with water scarcity. Barley grass is obtained by exposing barley seeds to germination of 8-8 days and sprouting in pans after pre-wetting. At the end of this period, interconnected roots like carpets and green shoots are used as animal fodder. At the end of sprouting, a significant weight increase of barley grains is seen, and with germination starch, protein and fat compounds within the grain are converted into basic forms such as sugar, amino add and fatty acids. As a resuit, immunities of animals are Improved, and an increase in their healths and performances is enabled. Also, ability to produce green fodder every day of the year popularizes these hydroponic green fodder production systems day by day.

The system of the invention relates to a cheap and rapid green fodder production independent of environment and climate conditions. The fresh green fodders, i.e. crops, produced with this system and provided to the animals have a digestibility up to 95-98%, 20-22% digestible protein, 18-20% dry matter content and 2800-2900 ME value, as well as vitamin A, E, foiic acid, mineral and amino asit and natural enzymes increasing up to 600%.

Object of the Invention

The present invention relates to a green fodder production system satisfying all aforementioned requirements, eliminating all disadvantages and bringing some additional advantages.

Main object of the green fodder production system of the invention is to obtain a healthier product without using any gas, chemical, fertilizer and similar substances.

Another object of the invention is to save workload with automatic proceeding with the use of a logical circuit.

Another object of the invention is to acquire more nutrition by increasing animal feeding quality.

Another object of the invention is to save water consumtion with specially designed irrigation modules.

Description ©f the invention

In the green fodder production system of the invention, there are trays (1) made of 5 mm acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and with partitions and improved antibacterial structure. Qualified seed with high germination rate are placed onto the specially designed trays (1). With the special automation system irrigation, lightening, climatization, humidity, heat, oxygen and clean air controls are made with complete automation.

Qualified seed with high germination rate are placed onto the trays (1), and sown in two-compartment racks (2) therein. All systems are of a fixed system, and a person can roam inside and perform required cleaning and controls with access to all points; the first 7 days seeds are placed onto the trays (1) without any harvesting, and the firstly sown rack (2) is harvested on day 8, then the seed is again placed onto the tray (1) cleaned with water. With this cycle, 100 kg of barley seed may produce 750-800 kg of crop the following day. With the alteration of the system, the production period is raised up to 7 days, and an efficiency increase of 20% is enabled. Racks (2) placed side by side four trays (1) are converted into tro row production units due to cleaning, inability to eliminate irrigation malfunctionings, formation of alphatoxin and management difficulties, thereby preventing alphatoxin production. The most important feature is that all crops and scapes are eatab!e and digestible, and crops are active in terms of natural enzymes, antioxidants, natural sugar and fiber.

Clean water temperature should be 17-21 degrees for rapid germination and growing of cooOI climate grain/grains (barley, wheat, rye, forage pea, lupine, sunflower, etc.). Water temperature is kept constant between desired 17-21 degrees thanks to a special frigo system and software integrated into the 500-1000 It of water tank within the system.

The system consists of panels with wall thicknesses ranging between 8 cm and 15 cm depending on regional climate conditions, with heat insulation of 40-43 against temperature, with wall inner surface specially produced with anti-corrosion and antibacterial properties. The panels are mounted with an internally hidden locking system. Ciimatization stream is enabled with a special design with outlets therein using channel (4) type air conditioners (3) onto the building for adjustment of internal environment heat. There are composite pipes (5) specially designed with a iength of 6 m and with resistance to high pressure on each rack (2) with the purpose of irrigating the production trays (1). On each pipe (5), 9 pieces of irrigation modules are used which has an atomization area with a diameter of 45 cm, is specially designed and specially manufactured and atomizing 36 It of water per hour The atomized water is pulled by the water tank (6) therein.

In the green fodder production system of the invention, irrigation is realized by the pump receiving command from the automation system as well as photosynthesis of the plant is realized with 14 hours of ligtening per day with LED lamps again receiving command from the automation system. There are railed sliding door systems in front and rear side of the systems. Within the panel placed into the outer, side surface of the green fodder production system of the invention, there are the software system, timing assembly, air conditioning remote control, input sockets enabling electric inputs and outputs and brakers. Solenoid vaives enabling flow balance and Irrigation of the system with time adjustment are present on internal cultivation units of the system. This system is programmed for a rational, rapid growing formation in plant development by providing within 7 days the eco-system experienced by seeds under the soil in the nature within approximately 4 months due to changes in temperature, humidity and lightness intensity values. As no gas, chemical, fertilizer and similar substances is used for production, a 100% ecological system is enabled.
