Abstract:
This shutter mechanism is adapted so as to be provided to a grill opening in a vehicle body. Opening and closing operations of the shutter mechanism are controlled by an electronic control unit (ECU). The ECU determines whether or not a vehicle is in a traveling end state (step 101), and if the vehicle is in a traveling end state (i.e., YES in step 101), the ECU determines whether or not the shutter mechanism is in an open state (step 103 to step 108). If the ECU determines that the open state of the shutter mechanism cannot be confirmed (step 108), the ECU controls the shutter mechanism in order to open the shutter mechanism (step 109).
