Title:
GRINDER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1997/016283
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A grinder is supported by a main body frame in such a manner as to be capable of moving up and down, and press force of a rotary grindstone of this grinder to a work W is regulated by an air cylinder and a pressure regulating valve. A hood is supported on the main body frame through a coil spring in such a manner as to cover this rotary grindstone, and the lower surface of the hood is always kept in close contact with the surface of the work W during grinding so as to recover the chips generated during grinding by a dust collector. A brush equipped with a hood is independently supported at the back of the grinder and fine chips adhering to the surface of the work W due to oil, etc., is removed and recovered by a dust collector. This simple construction can prevent scatter of the chips occurring during grinding and can reliably remove the chips.
