Abstract:
The present invention provides a grinder which allows a large-sized smoothing capacitor and a reactor to be appropriately arranged. The grinder (1A) is provided with: a brushless motor (6); a motor housing (2) that houses the brushless motor (6); a handle housing (3) connected to the rear of the motor housing (2); an inverter circuit (47) for supplying a drive current to the brushless motor (6); a diode bridge (15) for converting an alternating current into a direct current and supplying the direct current to the inverter circuit (47); an electric field capacitor (C2) for smoothing an output current of the diode bridge (15); and a reactor (L2) provided in a current path of the brushless motor (6), wherein the electric field capacitor (C2) and the reactor (L2) are disposed behind the brushless motor (6).
