Disclosed is a grinding device for grinding a glass substrate (10), the grinding device comprising a fixedly disposed grinding wheel (20), a cooling tube (30) and a movable carrying table (40), wherein the glass substrate (10) is disposed on the carrying table (40), and the grinding wheel (20) is provided with a peripheral grinding surface (201); the glass substrate (10) is driven by the carrying table (40) to move, so that the peripheral grinding surface (201) of the grinding wheel (20) grinds a surface to be ground (101) of the glass substrate (10); and the grinding wheel (20) is further provided with a cavity (202), and the cooling tube (30) containing a cooling liquid is disposed in the cavity (202) to reduce the temperature of the cavity (202), so that the temperature of the peripheral grinding surface (201) of the grinding wheel (20) and the surface to be ground (101) of the glass substrate (10) during grinding is lower than a preset temperature. The technical problem that the grinding temperature of the grinding wheel (20) and the glass substrate (10) is higher is solved, and the service life of the grinding wheel (20) and the yield rate of the glass substrate (10) are improved.
