Abstract:
The present invention has disclosed a grinding method for improving the particle
size distribution of the ground bauxite product. The method comprises: pre-sieving
or washing the bauxite containing some fine particle, making the resulted coarse
products enter a grinding machine, mixing and then classifying the ore discharged
from the grinding machine and the fine products resulted from pre-sieving or
washing, and rewashing the sand-return with water so as to decrease the fine inclusion.
The present invention can reduce regrinding of the acceptable particle size
products, and lower argillization or over-grinding during regrinding, especially
lower the content of fine products, thus improving the particle size distribution
of the ground product and decreasing the power consumption of grinding.
