Abstract:
The present invention relates to a grinding wheel assembly comprising a polishing machine for finishing concrete, asphalt, and a surface or floor of a structure, and more particularly, to a grinding wheel assembly for facilitating the attachment and detachment of a grinding tool, the grinding wheel assembly being configured to prevent damage to a grinding tool from centrifugal force and frictional heat generated during grinding at high speeds of rotation, and being capable of reducing working time and being conveniently used due to the ease of grinding tool replacement. To these ends, the grinding wheel assembly comprises a ferromagnetic grinding tool and a circular plate-shaped grinding wheel including a tool mounting part. The tool mounting part has a recess sized to receive the ferromagnetic grinding tool, and includes a magnet in an inner surface thereof. When required, the grinding wheel assembly may further include a disengagement prevention pin protruding thereon to stably fix the position of the grinding tool in the tool mounting part, and a push pin that facilitates the attachment and detachment of the grinding tool.
