Abstract:
The present invention provides a grip sensing device and so forth that can sense gripping of a steering wheel with good precision. A grip sensing device according to the present invention performs grip sensing with respect to a steering wheel. The grip sensing device includes an acquisition unit that acquires a capacitance value detected by an electrostatic capacitance sensor provided in the steering wheel, and a generating unit that generates a threshold value for performing grip sensing with respect to the steering wheel, on the basis of the capacitance value acquired by the acquisition unit and a parameter corresponding to a state relating to change in the capacitance value.
