Title:
GRIP-SUPPORTING GLOVE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/071115
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a grip-supporting glove which allows even a person with a weak grip strength to hold the grip of a golf club or the handle of a work tool firmly. The glove has a structure in which a stretchable belt-shaped member, which is fixed or secured at one end, is provided on the glove body at the back of the hand, a first hook-and-loop fastener part is provided at the other end of the stretchable belt-shaped member, and a second hook-and-loop fastener part is provided on a side surface at the base of the thumb of the glove body. While holding the grip with the glove on a hand, the stretchable belt-shaped member is wrapped over the little finger and the ring finger, or over the little finger, the ring finger, the middle finger, and the index finger, from the back side of the glove body (back of the hand), and the stretchable belt-shaped member is secured with the hook-and-loop fastener part provided at the base of the thumb. The tightening of the stretchable belt-shaped member replaces grip strength to achieve a state in which the grip is held firmly.
