Abstract:
The invention relates to a gripper (1) for a vessel-handling device, which has a gripping arm carrier and one or more gripping tong(s) each comprising two gripping arms (2). The gripper (1) has a rotationally-mounted control shaft (3) comprising at least one cam (31) that is supported against the gripping arms (2). Two plane-parallel base plates (111, 112) spaced apart from one another form the bearing for the rotationally-mounted control shaft (3). Between the two base plates (111, 112), a planar web element (10) extends acting as a gripping arm carrier, wherein a surface of said planar web element (10) lies in or parallel to a plane of symmetry (E) that extends perpendicularly to the base plates (111, 112) between the gripping arms (2) of the at least one gripping tong. The invention also relates to a star-shaped conveyor (10) that has at least one gripper (1) according to the invention, as well as a gripping arm (2) for forming a gripper (1), and a gripping tong.
