A gripping member in one aspect of the present invention includes a base, and one or more pairs of gripping portions. When a plate-shaped portion, which is a portion of a shield case, is disposed vertically with respect to a printed wiring board, for one or more pairs of the gripping portions, at least one gripping portion is contacted in pressure with the front-face-side of the plate-shaped portion, and at least one gripping portion is contacted in pressure with the rear-face-side of the plate-shaped member, so as to be in a state of gripping the plate-shaped portion. One of the gripping portions of the gripping portions which are to be a pair includes a first spring portion and a second spring portion. The other gripping portion includes a third spring portion and a fourth spring portion. The second spring portion and the fourth spring portion are capable of gripping the shield case by sandwiching the shield case therebetween, and when gripping the shield case, at least with regard to a direction orthogonal to the mating surfaces, locations which are to be different positions abut the shield case.
