Abstract:
This gripping tool is provided with a gripping unit inside of which multiple granules are provided. The gripping unit is flexible. In a state in which the gripping unit is brought into contact with a workpiece, the gripping tool grips the workpiece by decreasing the pressure inside of the gripping unit. The gripping unit has a first part which contacts the workpiece, a second part which is opposite of the first part, and a fiber membrane having multiple holes, provided between the first part and the second part. The diameter of at least some of the multiple holes is less than the diameter of the granules. The granules are provided between the fiber membrane and the second part.
