Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a gripping tool having improved operability. [Solution] This gripping tool is provided with a first arm 11 and a second arm 12, which have jaws 111, 121 at the front end portions thereof which are rotatably connected. Longitudinal gripping teeth 115, 125 having a plurality of ridges extending rearward from the front ends are present on a first facing surface 114 and a second facing surface 124, which are present at the front end portions of the jaw 111 and the jaw 121. The width of the longitudinal gripping teeth 115, 125 is less than the width of the first facing surface 114 and the second facing surface 124. At the front ends of the first facing surface 114 and the second facing surface 124, the center 1141, 1241, in a width direction, of each of the first facing surface 114 and the second facing surface 124 and the center, in the width direction, of each of the longitudinal gripping teeth 115, 125 are located at different positions, and one of the side sections of the longitudinal gripping teeth 115 is not contiguous to one of the side sections of the first facing surface 114 and to one of the side sections of the second facing surface 124.
