A grommet (10) of an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a wire harness joining section (11) to be joined together with a wire harness (20) in liquid-tight state; a panel joining section (13) that can be joined together with a panel opening (31) in liquid-tight state; an extending section (12) that extends between the wire harness joining section (11) and the panel joining section (13) in shape-deformable state; and an extending-section-shape maintaining section (12a) for maintaining the shape of the extending section (12) when the panel joining section (13) is joined together with the panel opening (31) in liquid-tight state, and the length of the extending section (12) is shorter than the distance between the wire harness joining section (11) and the panel joining section (13) in the lengthwise direction of the wire harness (20).
