Abstract:
Provided is a grommet unit that has a novel structure and that ensures effective maintenance of sealing brought about by pressing a grommet against a fitment object such as a panel, even in the case when water gushes into a gap between a bracket and the fitment object. This grommet unit 10 is to be fitted to a fitting face 53 of a fitment object 52, and is provided with: a cylindrical grommet 12 having a groove 38 formed in the surface thereof; a bracket 14 which overlaps the grommet 12 so as to press the grommet 12 on the fitment object 52 in a first direction; and a communication passage 74 which is formed when the groove 38 in the grommet 12 is covered by the bracket 14. The communication passage 74 has: a first end part 76 that is in communication with an interface between the bracket 14 and an overlapping surface of the fitting face 53; and a second end part 78 that is in communication with a portion where the grommet 12 and the bracket 14 do not overlap one another.
