Abstract:
Sealing characteristic of a grommet is prevented from deteriorating. The grommet (10) is provided with: a grommet body (20) that comprises wire insertion holes (21) into which wires (90) are inserted, that has the wires (90) drawn out from both end-faces thereof, and that is inserted into a mounting hole (62) of a housing (60); a sealing section (28) that is arranged at one-end side of the wire insertion holes (21) of the grommet body (20), and that has inner circumference lips (26), which tightly-adheres elastically to the wires (90), formed on the inner circumference faces of the wire insertion holes (21); and a non-sealing section (29) that is arranged at the other-end side of the wire insertion holes (21) of the grommet body (20), does not have inner circumference lips (26) formed on the inner circumference faces of the wire insertion holes (21), and wherein the inner diameter of the wire insertion holes (21) is made to be larger than the inner diameter of the inner circumference lips (26) of the sealing section (28). The extent to which the non-sealing section (29) is formed is prescribed so that the linearity of a wire (90) is maintained at the sealing section (28), even when the wire (90) drawn out from the other-end side of the grommet body (20) is bent.
