Abstract:
Provided are a grommet and a wire harness, which are configured so that waterproof properties will not degrade.
This grommet is provided with: a body section (11) fitted in a through-hole (41) in a wall (40) and in close contact with the peripheral edge of the through-hole (41); and a reinforcement member (25) provided in a through-space (12) which is located within the body section (11) and which is open in the direction same as the direction in which the through-hole (41) extends, the reinforcement member (25) preventing the body section (11) from deforming inward. As a result of this configuration, the shape of the body section (11) is held by the reinforcement member (25) to maintain the adhesion of the body section (11) to the peripheral edge of the through-hole (41), thereby preventing the waterproof properties from degrading.
