Abstract:
Provided is a grommet having a novel structure with which it is possible to inhibit excessive deformation of a diameter-expanding cylindrical part and effectively prevent a large-diameter cylindrical part from disengaging from a fixing member such as a vehicle body panel. This grommet 10 comprises a small-diameter cylindrical part 18 which is fixed to the outer circumferential surface of a wire harness 16, a large-diameter cylindrical part 20 which is fixed to a through hole 14 in a fixing member 12, and a diameter-expanding cylindrical part 22 which connects the small-diameter cylindrical part 18 and the large-diameter cylindrical part 20, wherein: an abutment wall part 34 is provided to an end part, on the small-diameter cylindrical part 18 side, of the diameter-expanding cylindrical part 22, the abutment wall part having a predetermined thickness in the axial direction and being arranged so as to be separated from the small-diameter cylindrical part 18 on the outer side in the radial direction; the abutment wall part 34 and the small-diameter cylindrical part 18 are connected by a flexible connection part 44 that is arranged therebetween and is thinner than the abutment wall part 34; and the flexible connection part 44 extends from an end part, on the axial-direction inward side, of the abutment wall part 34.
