Abstract:
A grommet (20) is equipped with a cylindrical insertion part (21) for covering the outer circumference of a wire harness (12) inserted into an insertion hole (16) provided to a vehicle chassis panel (15). In addition, the grommet (20) is provided with a ring-shaped facing part (22) which faces the section of the vehicle chassis panel (15) in the periphery of the insertion hole (16), and is sandwiched between the vehicle chassis panel (15) and a bracket (51) secured to the vehicle chassis panel (15). The grommet (20) is further equipped with a connecting part (23) for connecting the facing part (22) and the insertion part (21) so as to occlude the interval between the facing part (22) and the insertion part (21). The facing part (22) has a ring-shaped sealing part (31) which is tightly adhered to the vehicle chassis panel (15). The connecting part (23) has a plurality of folded sections (48) which are arranged in the radial direction of the facing part (22) and extend in the circumferential direction of the facing part (22) when seen from the axial direction of the facing part (22).
