A ground fault circuit interrupter with a life checking and indicating circuit comprises a programmed IC module and a tripping mechanism supplied by power module, a sensor and a signal regulating circuit connected to the programmed IC module via a signal amplification circuit, a test button, a reset button connected to the programmed IC module, and a life checking and indicating circuit connected to the programmed IC module.
