Abstract:
A ground fault detecting device (121) switches a switch (251), in an insulation resistance varying unit (250), from a disconnected state to a conducting state when the potential of a positive electrode connecting line (160), which conducts between a battery module (112) and a load by relays (150, 151), fluctuates. Thus, the insulation resistance of the positive electrode connecting line (160) is reduced, and the charging or discharging of a coupling capacitor (220), according to the potential fluctuation of the positive electrode connecting line (160), is performed via a resistor (252) having a resistance value (Rq) lower than insulation resistances (202, 212). By virtue of the ground fault detecting device (121), ground fault detection can be restarted quickly after ground fault detection is stopped by potential fluctuation occurring in the connecting line between the battery module (112) and the load.
