Title:
GROUND-FAULT DETECTION DEVICE FOR VEHICLES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/098277
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A ground-fault detection device for vehicles is provided with which the insulation of a coupling part between a ground-fault detection circuit and a high-voltage system circuit does not break down, even if temporary AC noise is applied. This ground-fault detection device (1) for vehicles, which detects ground faults of a high-voltage system electrically insulated from a vehicle body with which a low-voltage system is grounded, is provided with: a transformer (2) which intercepts the DC component between the low-voltage system and the high-voltage system; an oscillation circuit (3) which is provided to the low-voltage system, and which is connected to a primary-side coil (21) of the transformer (2); and a voltage-division resistor (4) which is provided to the high-voltage system, and which is connected to a secondary-side coil (22) of the transformer (2). The ground-fault detection device (1) for vehicles measures the peak voltage of the voltage-division resistor (4), i.e. the positive peak value of the voltage generated in the voltage-division resistor (4) by the voltage induced in the secondary-side coil (22) of the transformer (2) in accordance with the AC voltage generated by the oscillation circuit (3), and detects ground faults of the high-voltage system on the basis of the peak voltage of the voltage-division resistor (4).
