Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] A plate loading tester is generally used in ground supporting force
test, but the entire tester is bulky to increase manufacturing costs and the test
time per one point. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A ground supporting force test
equipment comprising a stool (1) of such a size as allowing a person to mount thereon,
a piston (2) integrated onto the stool (1), a pressure means (3) for pushing down
the moving element (25) of the piston (2), a means (4) for measuring the pressure
of the pressure means (3), a rod-like body (5) fixed to the moving element (25)
of the piston (2) and penetrating into the ground (G) as the moving element (25)
moves downward, and a means (6) for measuring penetration depth of the body (5)
into the ground (G). Since ground supporting force can be calculated from the
measurements of pressure and penetration when a person mounts on the stool (1)
and the body (5) is pushed down by the pressure means (3) for penetration into the
ground (G), ground supporting force test can be carried out in a short time while
requiring reduced manufacturing costs.
