Abstract:
The status of a ground is accurately determined, and erroneous reading of the ground is avoided. Disclosed is a ground survey method for surveying and visualizing a ground (104) without being destructive using elastic wave (102), wherein a receiver (124) and a transmitter (120) for transmitting elastic wave (102) are disposed on a given location on the ground (104). The transmitter (120) transmits the elastic wave (102), and the receiver (124) receives the elastic wave (102) that propagated through a path (104A) which extends from the transmitter (120) to the receiver (124) in the ground (104). Then, the decay rate (D) and the velocity (V) of the propagated elastic wave (102) are calculated, and a decay rate threshold (Dsh) and a velocity threshold (Vsh) are respectively set for the decay rate (D) and the velocity (V). The status of the ground (104) is determined by comparing the decay rate and the velocity with the decay rate threshold (Dsh) and the velocity threshold (Vsh).
