Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a ground wireless device capable of communicating with an on-vehicle device and a ground device even in a situation where external power is not supplied. This ground wireless device constitutes a train control system together with an on-vehicle wireless device installed on a train vehicle and a ground device installed on the ground. The ground wireless device is installed along a railway line, and communicates with the on-vehicle wireless device and the ground device. The ground wireless device includes a communication unit and a battery. The communication unit communicates with the on-vehicle wireless device and the ground device by using power supplied from an external power source. The battery supplies power to the communication unit when power supply from the external power source stops.
