Abstract:
Disclosed are a GSM mobile phone signal blocking method and system. Blocking is achieved by interfering with an uplink frequency of a mobile phone. The method comprises: by using a characteristic that an uplink signal transmitted by a mobile phone has at least one uplink time slot time period, detecting and identifying, within the uplink time slot time period, whether the strength of the uplink signal has reached a set level threshold, and accordingly determining whether the transmitting mobile phone is located within a shielded region; and if it is determined that the mobile phone is located within the shielded region, transmitting a blocking interference signal in the same time slot, and causing the strength of the interference signal to be greater than the strength of the uplink signal transmitted by the mobile phone, so as to interfere with receiving performed by a base station, such that communication of the mobile phone is interrupted. A GSM mobile phone signal blocking system comprises an uplink receiving antenna, a filter, a power detection comparator, an interference transmitter, and an uplink interference antenna. Using the method and system of the invention to block a GSM mobile phone signal does not affect other users in a region, and transmission is not performed when no mobile phone is in use, thereby reducing wastage and wireless signal pollution.
