Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to guide a living being to a normal position so that biometric information can be advantageously acquired. In the present invention, a sensor unit is provided with a guide for guiding a palm of a user to a normal position, and a sensor for acquiring a venogram (biometric information) of the palm. The guide is provided with a three-finger supporting unit (50) for supporting three fingers, which are a second finger (index finger), a third finger (middle finger), and a fourth finger (ring finger). The three-finger supporting unit (50) is provided with: a three-finger placement surface (56) upon which the three fingers of the second finger, the third finger, and the fourth finger are placed and supported; and two finger crotch guides (53L and 53R) for guiding the three fingers of the second finger, the third finger, and the fourth finger to each respective placement position. The three-finger placement surface (56) is provided with pressure sensors (55L, 55C, 55R) at positions corresponding to the finger pad of each respective finger. The finger crotch guides (53L and 53R) are provided with pressure sensors (54L and 54R) at respective positions abutted by the finger crotch portions. The sensor unit performs notification of the detected pressures in order to guide the palm of the user to a normal position.
