Abstract:
The present invention relates to a guidance system and method for a walking route, including: a terminal device which receives and transmits departure point and destination information, and displays the received walking route information; and a guidance apparatus for a walking route, which receives the departure point and destination information, creates route information based on streets, determines whether a building having a route for movement through same is included in the created route information, creates route information including the route for movement through the corresponding building, and transmits the route information including the route for movement through the building to the terminal device. Accordingly, when a shortened route passing through a building exists during the creation of a walking route, an optimal route that shortens the walking distance and time can be provided by guiding the route to pass through the building.
