Abstract:

A long-life and highly reliable guide device capable of preventing dust from entering a moving block by developing dustproofing performance even under an environment where a large amount of fine dust such as gypsum and ceramic powder is present and an oil content is absent or the oil content is not desired. The guide device comprises a track rail (11) in which rolling element rolling grooves (12-1) to (12-4) are formed along the longitudinal direction and the moving block (20) installed on the track rail through a large number of rolling elements so as to be relatively moved on the track rail. End face dustproof brushes (25) having brush members (36) with tips coming into contact with the surface of the track rail (11) and removing foreign matter adhered to the surface of the track rail (11) by the brush members (36) are installed on the outer sides of both side covers (22) in the relative movement direction.
