Abstract:
A guide-free image sensor actuator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a carrier in which an image sensor is provided and which moves relative to a plane perpendicular to the optical-axis direction; first and second magnets which are mounted to the carrier at positions orthogonal to each other; a sensing magnet which is mounted to the carrier; first and second Hall sensors which are opposite to the first and second magnets respectively; a rotation-sensing Hall sensor which is opposite to the sensing magnet; n (n is a natural number equal to or greater than 2) first coils which are opposite to the first magnet; m (m is a natural number equal to or greater than 1) second coils which are opposite to the second magnet; and an operation driver which controls the magnitude and direction of a current applied to at least one of the n first coils and the m second coils by using output signals of two or more of the first Hall sensor, the second Hall sensor, and the rotation-sensing Hall sensor.
