This guide member for a fishing line has a Ti content of 0.5 mass% or more in terms of TiO2, has an Al content of 92 mass% or more in terms of Al2O3, and comprises an alumina ceramic the main phase of which is alumina crystal, the content ratio of the alumina crystal having an aspect ratio of 2 or greater being 15% or higher.
