Abstract:
A guide rail-based steel wire mesh transport device for a soft coal seam working surface comprises a hydraulic supporting frame (1) provided between a coal face (5) and a goaf (6); a guide rail (4) suspended under a front section of the hydraulic supporting frame (1); a steel wire mesh (2) laid over the hydraulic supporting frame (1), wherein a rear portion of the steel wire mesh (2) is fixed at a bottom portion of gangue in the goaf (6), a front portion of the steel wire mesh (2) extends forward along the hydraulic supporting frame, the front end of the steel wire mesh (2) passes around a face guard (11) at the front end of the hydraulic supporting frame (1) and is connected by means of a mesh fastener (3) to a steel wire mesh roll wound around the guide rail (4) Also disclosed is a method of using the steel wire mesh transport device, capable of improving the efficiency of spreading a steel wire mesh.
