Abstract:

[Solution] A vehicle-mounted device 1 is provided with: a map information database 161 which stores map information; an update information acquiring unit 171 which acquires from a center device 2 update information for updating the map information; a map information updating unit 172 which updates the map information on the basis of the update information; a temporarily delivered information acquiring unit 173 which acquires temporarily delivered information, where said temporarily delivered information is used for guidance until the update is complete, has the same data structure as the map information, and can be replaced with the map information; a data recording unit 16 which stores the temporarily delivered information acquired by the temporarily delivered information acquiring unit 173; and a guiding unit 174 which, until the update is complete, performs guidance on the basis of the temporarily delivered information stored in the data recording unit 16, and which, after the update is complete, performs guidance on the basis of the map information that has been updated by the map information updating unit 172.
