Abstract:
The invention relates to a guiding element (01) for a printing unit (05) which, in order to be used with an imprinter function, is embodied in such a way that, in one operating situation, a strip (02) is printed upon in a printing gap of the printing unit, and in another operating situation, said strip is guided through the printing gap by means of the guiding element in a non-contact manner. Said guiding element comprises, in its envelope surface, a plurality of openings for the discharge of a pressurised fluid. Said openings are micro-openings having a diameter smaller than 500 µm.
