Abstract:
This invention, regards the construction of a Specific Dental Aid Apparatus, called " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly, by a specific procedure of molding sanitary polymeric plastic material (appropriate for use with drugs ), which is constituted by two (2 ) component parts, of specific design and shape each time, the HEAD and the HAND-HOLDER, and is presented in two (2) constructory variations : [ A ].- As Single Use " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly [ B ].- As Multiple Use" Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly which both, are constituted by : > On one hand, a basic part (HEAD) which always contains one exterior part ( TUNIC ) having a longitudinal cylindrical shape, like a thimble, which is on purpose constructed as hollow (homoaxial) longitudinal cylinder, by soft polymeric plastic material ( appropriate for use in drugs), which on the one longitudinal halfcylindrical exterior surface, characteristically has formed many, externally projected s o f t polymeric massage swellings, which are arranged upright in three lines and in stable between them distances, and have a microcylindrical shape, of appropriate length and spherical terminal figure, disposing the appropriate flexibility and eIasticity ( in order to execute the massaging of gums during the application procedure), while on the other longitudinal halfcylindrical exterior surface, has a plain polished appearance, terminating in the one end in a closed-blind hemispherical finish, and in the other end in an open finish of a round (circular) cutting, as also > On the other hand, a second part ( HAND-HOLDER ) constructed by polymeric plastic material (appropriate for use in drugs), which each time is of appropriate specific design and shape, so that, adapted inside the corresponding appropriate cylindrical part of the HEAD, they might co - constitute each time, the corresponding unique total assembly, of each corresponding inventive variation [ Single Use Assembly - Multiple Use Assembly ]. It can be used for the co-ordinated mechanical and pharmaceutical therapeutic treatment of mouth-dental diseases ( Gingivitis, Ulcerative Dental Sockets, etc ), as a co-ordinating aid, mechanically helping the appliance of a specific Gums-Treating pharmaceutical dental ointment [ e.g. OULOGRAM R ointment ], by which the patient conducts on his own, massages upon the suffering area of his gums, so that he manages the drug to enter deep into the tissues, in that way managing to magnify the therapeutic effects !

INVENTIVE CLAIMS

The invention of this Specific Dental Aid Apparatus , called " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator Assembly , constructed by specific procedure of molding hygienic (sanitary ) polymeric plastic material (appropriate for use with drugs ) is constituted by two (2 ) component parts , of s p e c i fic design and shape each time, the HEAD [ DRAWING 1] and the HAND-HOLDER [DRAWING 2], and is presented in two ( 2 ) constructor^ variations :

[ A ] .- As Single Use " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly

[ B ] .- As Multiple Use" Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly diversified between them , according to the seeked merge-joining of its two component parts , in the aim of forming each final total assembly , according to its destination of use , that is :

Either > As Single Use Assembly [ DRAWING 3 ]

Or > As Multiple Use Assembly [ DRAWING 4 ] .

It is mainly characterised by the external shape and appearance of the basic part { HEAD } each time [ DRAWING A 1 & B 1 ] , which always contains one exterior part ( TUNIC ) [1 ] having a longitudinal cylindrical shape , like a thimble , which is on purpose constructed as h o 11 o w ( homoaxial ) longitudinal cylinder , by soft polymeric plastic material ( appropriate for use in drugs ) , which on the one longitudinal halfcylindrical exterior surface , characteristically has formed many, externally projected soft polymeric massage swellings [2], which are arranged upright in three lines and in stable between them distances , and have a microcylindrical shape , of appropriate length and spherical terminal figure , so that correspondingly they might dispose the appropriate flexibility and e I a s t i c i t y ( in order to execute the massaging of gums during the application procedure ) , while on the other longitudinal halfcylindrical exterior surface , it has a plain polished appearance , terminating in the one end in a closed-blind hemispherical finish [3], and in the other end in anopen finish of a round ( circular ) cutting [ 4 ] .

Moreover , It is secondarily characterised by the appropriate , each time , second part ( HAND- HOLDER ) [ DRAWING A 3 & B 2 ], which at each one constructive variation of corresponding assembly , deliberately constructed by polymeric plastic material ( appropriate for use in drugs ) , is of corresponding appropriate specific design and shape , so that , accordingly adapted inside the corresponding appropriate cylindrical part of the HEAD , together they might co-constitute each time , the corresponding " functional "unique total assembly, of each " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " variation { Single Use Assembly - Multiple Use Assembly } [DRAWING 3 & 4] .

The Single Use " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly , according to claim 1 is characterised from the fact that in a d d i t i o n , on the one hand it has in a defined specific place of the external longitudinal halfcylindrical surface of the "TUNIC "[1], in-between the massage swellings of the HEAD , a longitudinal " o p e n i n g " [5] of precise defined dimensions ( intended for the convenient urging - extraction of the predetermined quantity of the pharmaceutical dental ointment intended to be applied ) [ DRAWING A 1 ], and on the other hand it contains inside the HEAD , another ( homoaxial ) longitudinal hoi low cylinder [ DRAWING A 2 ] , constructed by polymeric plastic material ( appropriate for use in drugs ) { SHIRT } [ 6 ] , which is specially designed , so that on one hand it can be used as " storage " of the predetermined quantity of the ointment intended to be applied , and on the other hand it may also have a corresponding longitudinal " o p e n i n g " [ 10 ] , of similarly precise defined dimensions , in its corresponding longitudinal halfcylindrical surface , intended for the convenient urging - extraction of the predetermined quantity of the ointment , towards the corresponding "o p e n - i n g " [5] of urging - extraction of the external longitudinal cylinder "TUNIC " , when at the start of using the Assembly, a pressure is administered upon the part of PISTON of the HAND-HOLDER , towards entering the " SHIRT " , thus causing the urging- extraction of the ointment .

Moreover , It is characterised from the fact that in addition, it has a restrictive possibility of assembly , with a HAND-HOLDER of corresponding specific design and shape [ DRAWING A3], which characteristically is constructively containing : > A front hollo longitudinal cylindrical section of{ PISTON }[ 11 ] specif! having an external diameter equal to the internal diameter of the { SHIRT jor ine ntAu , and also having immediately after its front terminal , one opening directly communicating with its interior [ 12] , which is also communicating externally , on one hand with an intrinsic p e r i p h e r a I [ 13 ] of its external cylindrical surface , and on the other hand at its back terminal , with four (4)peripheral openings[14], which a 1 I- together, create a " directive channel " for the urging-extraction of the predetermined quantity of the ointment , towards the " o p e n i n g " [ 10 ] of the " SHIRT ", and further on towards the " o p e n i n g " [ 5 ] of the " TUNIC " , and hence towards the exit .

> There follows a Back compact cylindrical section of{ PISTON }[ 15] specifically designed , having an external diameter s i m i I a r ( s a m e ) , but at its back terminal , it has a cylindrical ring with specifically constructed STOP [16], which together with a specific spot-like swelling [17] and a specific sphenoid exaggeration [18] , constructed on the external surface of the compact cylindrical section of {PISTON }[ 15] ," block " the whole assembly of the " HAND-HOLDE " with the " HEAD ", in such a merge-joining manner , that it becomes impossible for the " HAND-HOLDER "to turn inside the

" HEAD ", during the afterwards procedure of executing gums massages by the user!

> Further on , a Back compact DOUBLE-SIDED section [19] specifically designed , is interposed , which determines the correct " driving " of merge-joining of the two component parts of the Single Use " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Apparatus , so that it may become " functional " the whole Single Use Assembly , of the corresponding " HAND-HOLDER " With the " HEAD " [DRAWING A 7 ] .

This section also ends , at its following back terminal , having a compact cylindrical ring , which concommitantly is the front-finish terminal of the consequent compact constructive molding o " HOLDE " [ 20 ] of the " HAND-HOLDER " , which is properly designed , so that one user can manage a correct and steady " holding " of the " HAND-HOLDER " , in such a way that he might execute properly the foreseen procedure of massaging !

3. The Multiple Use " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly , according to claim 1 is characterised from the fact that in a d d i t i o n , on the one hand it doesn't contain inside the HEAD , the beforementioned longitudinal hollow cylinder ( SHIRT ) , nor the beforementioned longitudinal " o p e n i n g " in - between the massage swellings of the external longitudinal halfcylindrical surface of the "TUNIC " of the HEAD [ DRAWING B 1 ] , while on the contrary on the other hand , it has a restrictive possibility of assembly , with another kind of corresponding HAND-HOLDER , having a different specific design and shape [DRAWING B 2 ] , which characteristically is constructively containing :

> A front hollow longitudinal cylindrical-parallelepiped-like section of {PISTON-SHIRT}

[5] specifically designed , which is mainly constructed as a longitudinal parallelepiped , of a slight stereo-dimensional bending [6] , which ends in a circular-like terminal [7] , having vigorously made rounded its side-stereo-angles , at a comprehensibly tangent covering longitudinal cylinder , of a comprehensive external diameter e q u a I to the internal diameter of the "TUNIC " of the HEAD , so that , by entering at first inside the "TUNIC ", at the commencing ( normal ) assembling position of the whole HAND-HOLDER inside the HEAD [DRAWING B 3], in conjunction to a specific spot-like radial input STOP

[8] , built at an appropriate end of the external surface of one of its side-stereo-angles , it might secure the t i g h t restrainment of the longitudinal cylinder "TUNIC " of the HEAD , at the predetermined defined specific place , of appropriate stereo-dimensional projection of its externally projected soft polymeric massage swellings [2] , protected from accidental invasion of external contaminative factors .

> There follows a Back compact terminal ending of the PISTON-SHIRT , which has a specifically constructed cylindrical ring STOP [9] , which " blocks " the whole assembly of the " HAND-HOLDER " with the " HEAD ", in such a merge-joining manner , that i t b e c o m e s i m p o s s i b I e for the " HAND-HOLDER " t o t u r n inside the " HEAD ", during the procedure of executing gums massages by the user I > Further on , a Back compact DOUBLE-SIDED section [ 10 ] specifically designed , is interposed , which determines the correct " driving " of merge-joining of the two component parts of the Multiple Use " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator "Apparatus , so that it may become " functional " the whole Multiple Use Assembly ,of the corresponding " HAND-HOLDER " with the " HEAD " [ DRAWING B 3 ] .

This section also ends , at its following back terminal , having a compact cylindrical ring , which concommitantly is the front-finish terminal of the consequent compact constructive molding of " HOLDER " [ 11 ] of the " HAND-HOLDER " , which is properly designed , so that one user can manage a correct and steady " holding " of the " HAND-HOLDER " , in such a way that he might execute properly the foreseen procedure of massaging !

Each time ( among the multiple ) , at the first phase of preparations to start the use , the user is directed to apply , the appropriate pressure upon the TUBE of the ointment , thus causing the urging-extraction of the appropriate predetermined quantity of the ointment , at the precise specific area [ 2 ] of the longitudinal cylinder " TUNIC " of the HEAD , of the Multiple Use " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator "Apparatus , i n - b e t w e e n the externally projected s o f t polymeric massage swellings [ DRAWING B 4 ] , and further on he continues to execute properly the foreseen procedure of massaging his gums !

FIELD OF INVENTION

This invention belongs to the field of Sanitary Dental Treatment Aids , constructed by machine of specific procedure of molding hygienic ( sanitary ) polymeric plastic material , into forms of corresponding shape .

DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

This invention , regards the construction of a Specific Dental Aid Apparatus , called " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly , by a specific procedure of molding sanitary polymeric plastic material , which can be used for the co-ordinated mechanical and pharmaceutical therapeutic treatment of mouth-dental diseases ( Gingivitis , Ulcerative Dental Sockets , etc ) , as a co-ordinating aid , mechanically helping the appliance of a specific Gums-Treating pharmaceutical dental ointment [ e.g. OULOGRAM R ointment ] , by which the patient conducts o n h i s o w n , massages upon the suffering area of his gums , so that he manages the drug to enter deep into the tissues , in that way managing to magnify the therapeutic effects .

It is well known , how " painfull ", " time-consuming ", and " costs-consuming " are the various " therapeutical procedures " followed by the Dental Medicine Community , to face such mouth- dental diseases of their client - patients ( like e.g. gingivitis ) , after quite numerous needed " treatment sessions " .

The present invention of the said Specific Dental Aid Apparatus , represents a significant technologic development , which signals innovation Procedure in the Therapeutic Treatment of such mouth-dental diseases (as e.g.gingivitis ) , because the patient himself o n h i s o w n , applies many times ( simply according to his Dentist's instructions ) , the corresponding Gums-Treating pharmaceutical dental ointment [ e.g. OULOGRAM R ointment ] , simultaneously executing rigorous massaging of his gums ( by the help of the corresponding appropriate " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly ) , and thus he succeds rapid therapy results , without needing multiple " treatment sessions " and many time-consuming " visits " to his Dentist .

In that way , someone gains significant time , that otherwise would take him to finish treatment of such cases , and on the same time , he finally pays , significantly lower cost for the whole therapy treatment I

The said Specific Dental Aid Apparatus " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly , which eventually constitutes the topic of the present invention , constructed by specific procedure of molding hygienic ( sanitary ) polymeric plastic material ( appropriate for use with drugs ) is constituted by two (2 ) component parts , of specific design and shape each time , the HEAD [ DRAWING 1 ] and the HAND-HOLDER [ DRAWING 2 ] , and is presented in two ( 2 ) constructor variations : [ A ] .- As Single Use " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly

A ] .· DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF SINGLE USE " GUMS MASSAGING DENTAL APPLICATOR " ASSEMBLY

The Single Use " Gums Massaging Dental Applicator " Assembly , is a bi-component parts Assembly Apparatus , which constructively is constituted by :

1.- A basic part ( HEAD ) , which contains [ DRAWING A 1 ] one exterior part {TUNIC } [ 1 ] having a longitudinal cylindrical shape , like a thimble , which is on purpose constructed as h o I - I o w ( homoaxial ) longitudinal cylinder, by soft polymeric plastic material ( appropriate for use in drugs ) , which on the one longitudinal halfcylindrical exterior surface .characteristically has formed many {26 }, externally projected soft polymeric massage swellings

[2], which are arranged upright in three lines and in stable between them distances, and have a microcylindrical shape , of appropriate length and spherical terminal figure , so that correspondingly they might dispose the appropriate flexibility and e I a - s t i c i t y ( in order to execute the massaging of gums during the application procedure ) , while on the other longitudinal halfcylindrical exterior surface , has a plain polished appearance , terminating in the one end in a closed-blind hemispherical finish [ 3 ] , and in the other end in an open finish of a round (circular) cutting [4] .

In a d d i t i o n , on one hand it has in a defined specific place of the external longitudinal halfcylindrical surface of the "TUNIC "[1], in-between the massage swellings of the HEAD , a longitudinal " o p e n i n g " [ 5 ] of precise defined dimensions ( intended for the convenient urging - extraction of the predetermined quantity of the pharmaceutical dental ointment [ e.g. OULOGRAM R ointment ] intended to be applied ) , and on the other hand it contains inside the HEAD , another ( homoaxial ) longitudinal hollow cylinder [ DRAWING Α2 ], constructed by polymeric plastic material ( appropriate for use in drugs ){ SHIRT }[6] , having a plain polished appearance allover its Ion halfcylindrical exterior surface , similarly terminating , in the one end in a closeu-unm. hemispherical finish [ 7a ] , and in the other end in an open finish of a round ( circular ) cutting [7b] , which is specially designed , having at appropriate positions one specific wedge-way [ 8 ] , and one specific spot-opening [ 9 ] , destined to " receive "corresponding specific constructions { [ 17 ] & [ 18 ] } of the HAND-HOLDER during her Assembly later-on , so that on one hand it can be used as " storage " of the predetermined quantity of the ointment intended to be applied , and on the other hand it may also have a corresponding longitudinal " o p e n i n g " [10] , of similarly precise defined dimensions , in its corresponding longitudinal halfcylindrical surface , intended for the convenient urging

- extraction of the predetermined quantity of the ointment , towards the corresponding " o p e n i n g " [5] of urging - extraction of the external longitudinal cylinder "TUNIC " , when at the start of using the Assembly , a pressure is administered upon the part of PISTON of the HAND-HOLDE , towards entering the " SHIRT " , thus causing the urging

A second part ( HAND-HOLDER ), of appropriate specific design and shape , which is deliberately constructed by polymeric plastic material ( appropriate for use in drugs ) , [ DRAWING A 3 ] , and constructively contains :

> A front hollow longitudinal cylindrical section of {PISTON }[11] specifically designed , having an external diameter equal to the internal diameter of the { SHIRT} of the HEAD , so that , by entering at first inside the " SHIRT ", at the commencing ( normal ) assembling position of the whole HAND-HOLDER inside the HEAD [DRAWING A 4 ] , it might secure the t i g h t restrainment of the predetermined quantity of the ointment , at storage inside the " SHIRT ", protected from external contamina- tive factors .

This particular section of PISTON , has immediately after its front terminal , one o p e - n i n g directly communicating with its interior [12] , which is also communicating externally , on one hand with an i n t r i n s i c peripheral [13] of its external cylindrical surface , and on the other hand at its back terminal , with four (^peripheral openings [14] , which altogether, create a " directive channel " of the ointment towards the exit , which is used for this purpose , at the next phase of preparations to start the use , when the user is directed to apply , the appropriate pressure upon the " HAND-HOLDER " , thus causing the urging-extraction of the quantity of the ointment , at the precise specific area [5] of the longitudinal cylinder " TUNIC " of the HEAD , i n - b e t w e e n the externally projected soft polymeric massage swellings [ DRAWING A 5 ] , until its final total exit [ DRAWING A 6 ] .

1 . - A basic part ( HEAD ) , which contains [ DRAWING B 1 ] one exterior part {TUNIC } [1 ] having a longitudinal cylindrical shape , like a thimble , which is on purpose constructed as h o I - I o w ( homoaxial ) longitudinal cylinder , by s o f t polymeric plastic material ( appropriate for use in drugs ) , which on the one longitudinal halfcylindrical exterior surface characteristically has formed many {29}, externally projected s o f t polymeric massage swellings

[2] , which are arranged upright in three lines and in stable between them distances , and have a microcylindrical shape , of appropriate length and spherical terminal figure , so that correspondingly they might dispose the appropriate f l e x i b i l i t y and e I a - s t i c i t y ( in order to execute the massaging of gums during the application procedure ) , while on the other longitudinal halfcylindrical exterior surface ,has a plain polished appearance , terminating in the one end in a closed-blind hemispherical finish [3 ] , and in the other end in an open finish of a round (circular) cutting [4] .

[5] specifically designed , which is mainly constructed as a longitudinal parallelepiped , of a slight stereo-dimensional bending [6] , which ends in a circular-like terminal [7] , having vigorously made rounded its side-stereo-angles , at a comprehensibly tangent covering longitudinal cylinder , of a comprehensive external diameter e q u a I to the internal diameter of the "TUNIC " of the HEAD , so that , by entering at first i n s i d e the "TUNIC ", at the commencing ( normal ) assembling position of the whole HAND-HOLDER inside the HEAD [ DRAWING B 3 ] , in conjunction to a specific spot-like radial input STOP

[8] , built at an appropriate end of the external surface of one of its side-stereo-angles , it might secure the t i g h t r e s t r a i n m e n t of the longitudinal cylinder "TUNIC " of the HEAD , at the predetermined defined specific place , of appropriate stereo-dimensional projection of its externally projected s o f t polymeric massage swellings [2] , protected from accidental invasion of external contaminative factors .
