Abstract:
Provided is a gunning mass that can improve a seal of a gap in a kiln. To this end, in the gunning mass which is applied to a kiln, the formulation and composition are adjusted so that when heated in an environment of an ambient temperature of 80 to 500°C, there is an accompanying expansion of volume of 1.3 times or more that before heating. For example, 0.5 to 3 mass% of a thermoplastic plastic containing liquefied gas and 3 to 10 mass% of silicate are mixed in the total 100 mass%.
