Abstract:

A lightweight gypsum board, comprising a foam gypsum core, the foam gypsum core further comprising one or more hard edge parts having side faces covered with cover base paper, one or more high density parts containing a front face or a rear face and not containing the side faces covered with the cover base paper and having a density substantially equal to the density of the hard edge parts, and a low density part having a density lower than the densities of the hard edge parts and the high density parts and coming into contact with the hard edge parts and the high density parts, wherein the hard edge parts do not include positions where nails are driven, whereby an excellent adhesiveness of the gypsum board to the cover base paper can be provided, the dry-out of the edge parts of the gypsum board can eliminated, and inconvenience of a workability to drive nails into the gypsum board can be eliminated.
