Abstract:
A gyro sensor according to one mode of embodiment of the present technology is provided with a transducer body and a detecting portion. The transducer body includes at least one arm portion and a supporting portion which supports the arm portion such that the arm portion is capable of vibrating. The arm portion includes an arm portion body which is excited in a first direction, and an intermediate portion which is provided between the arm portion body and the supporting portion, and which vibrates more readily in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction than in the first direction. The detecting portion is disposed on the intermediate portion, and detects vibrations of the intermediate portion in the second direction.
