Abstract:
A gyroscope (100), comprising an anchor point (10), a ring structure (20) using the anchor point (10) as an axis and fixed to the anchor point (10) in the circumferential direction by means of first connecting portions (41), and driving electrodes (30) spaced apart from the ring structure (20). The ring structure (20) comprises a plurality of first ring structures (21) having first corners (11) formed and a plurality of second ring structures (22) in a circular ring shape. The first ring structures (21) and the second ring structures (22) are arranged coaxially, the first ring structures (21) and the second ring structures (22) are spaced apart on the outer circumference of the anchor point (10), and the first ring structures (21) and the second ring structures (22) are connected by means of second connecting portions (42). The outer contour of the first ring structures (21) is a regular 8N-pointed star. Thus, the gyroscope (100) has two vibration modes having the same mode shape, and by limiting the outer contour of the first ring structures (21) to a regular 8N-pointed star, the gyroscope (100) has the advantage of high frequency, high quality factor, and small difference in driving/detection mode frequency.
